Dr. Ardehali discusses the advances in organ donations, surgical techniques, and the cutting-edge medical advancements in machine perfusion, a portable platform that keeps organs alive outside of the body until they can be transplanted.

April is National Organ Donation Month and UCLA encourages Americans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors. One donor can save up to 8 lives.
