Disney had its Q1 2023 earnings call and released information about the financials of the company, including Disney+ and the theme parks division.

Avatar: The Way of Water was released in theaters and was a massive success 

Now, Disney CEO Bob Iger has shared that there will be more opportunities for fans to engage with the Avatar franchise in the future, and will now represent another core franchise for the company

Iger is in talks with Disney Parks, Experiences, and various people about possibly having something Avatar related in the west coast parks. 

He said, “We have opportunities to look at the great franchises of the company and see where we can invest in those in the parks and keep guest happiness up.”
