With gas prices they way they are it's important to find any trick and tip you can to help you either save money or have your gas last longer! Here are some tips that will hopefully help you out!

Fill Up in the Morning!

So as you should know, gas expands when it's warmer out! So apparently you should fill up when it's cooler out, like the morning! "you’ll get less gas in your gallon than if you had refueled that morning, when the ground temperature was still low."

Fill Up Slowly

Trust me, I'm all about not wasting time at the gas station, however if you take your time it will help you get all the gas you've paid for!

Don't wait until you're on E to fill up!

"Driving around with an almost empty tank makes the remaining gas evaporate more quickly. Fill your tank whenever it drops below half-full for optimal fuel efficiency."

Stay the Speed limit

I don't think I can get down with this one because it "says each 5 MPH you drive over 50 is like paying 14 cents more per gallon of gas."

Do not fill up when a gas tank is fill up the gas station

"You will likely get contaminates with your gasoline, which affects both performance and efficiency."

Lastly make sure your tires have enough air in them! When they don't have enough air it makes your car work harder and thus use more gas!
