LA Rams Internship Helps Crenshaw Native Tackle Homelessness

Aside from the Los Angeles Rams going to Super Bowl 56, they're also doing some incredible things to give back.

The Rams and Bank of America teamed up to give Joseph Merchain a 100-day internship during the 2021 NFL season.

The 24-year-old Crenshaw native grew up in the foster care system, spending time in 32 foster homes during his childhood. He experienced homelessness at just 13-years-old and has been battling housing insecurity ever since.

The internship was life-changing for Joseph. Working with the Rams Community Affairs department, he was able to learn valuable skills and tools to use day-to-day.

Take a look at his inspiring story.
