Yikes, this is scary!
According to NBC Los Angeles, a man carjacked a car with an 8-month-old baby and the baby's grandmother. The man lead the authorities through a car-chase pursuit all through Downtown Los Angeles, which then lead the the man to be arrested. The carjack incident started around 2:45pm on Ninth Street and Maple Avenue and ended around 4pm.
"The Department mobilized extensive resources, including a team of detectives and an airship, in an effort to locate the vehicle," LAPD Officer Tony Im told NBC Los Angeles. "A spike strip was deployed, and the vehicle came to a stop," he added.
Soon after the car chased pursuit ended, the baby and the grandmother reunited with their family in stabled condition.
Talk about a scary yet happy ending.
