This breaks my heart.
A family of 12 in Azusa all tested positive for Covid-19. They wore gloves and masks, washed their hands, and even their groceries but it didn't seem to be enough.
This past Tuesday a beautiful family tragically lost their father to Covid-19.
Guillermo Ramirez worked as a truck driver and was the family's sole provider, he was 47 years old.
His wife Luciana Ramirez, who has been with Guillermo since she was 16 years old every day for 30 years, says he started feeling unwell April 10. At first they thought it was only the stomach flu but one by one family members began to get sick.
Luciana watched the ambulance take her mother, husband, and son to the hospital when their condition worsened.
Tuesday doctors called and asked her to rush to the hospital. Her daughter who doesn't have covid-19 has been living elsewhere, but when she got the call she rushed to the hospital with her mother but they were too late.
Writing this gave me chills, my heart and prayers is with the Ramirez family. There's no words for this.
