On April 13th, Kanye West returned to Twitter. Were we that surprised? Not really. The rapper has "quit" social media many times before but he always makes his way back. After cancelling his Saint Pablo Tour in 2017, the rapper disappeared from the public eye and abandoned his accounts. The most we saw or heard from him was a couple of short appearances on his wife, Kim Kardashian's reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He also made a brief comeback to Instagram on Valentine's day when he posted photos of celebrity couples throughout the day.
Fans were happy to see when Yeezy retweeted Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey who tweeted, "Welcome back @kanyewest!" Everyone figured his return meant that he had some kind of project to announce. And they weren't wrong. Kanye released several images of clothing and shoes he was working on in addition to announcing that he's dropping his own album, a collab album with Kid Cudi and producin for Teyana Taylor, Pusha T and Nas.
