The city of Miami mourns today as one of the major and popular pedestrian walkways collapsed injuring over 16 people.
Sources over at ABC news claims there is a number of people who have died due to the incident and the bridge itself was fairly new.
The bridge was installed this past Saturday at Florida's International University. The collapse seemed to occurred early in the morning leaving eight cars stuck underneath the bridge and eight people immediately rushed to the hospital.
The company who were involved in BUILDING the new bridge had stated on Twitter "Our family's thoughts and prayer go out to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy"
