Alex Wubbels was arrested by Utah police after refusing to draw the blood of an unconscious patient at the request of police officials. Quoting both hospital protocol and national law, Wubbels attempted to clue the officer in on way it would be inappropriate (not to mention illegal) to draw someone's blood who is unconscious and who the police did not have a warrant for.
Wubbels was swiftly arrested, and video of the incident, which was quite shocking and violent, went viral.
The officer has been placed on administrative leave until an investigation is done.
